Adding Backgrounds to Your Blog… November 20, 2009

Hello Fellow Teachers!

If you are interested in creating a blog but don’t know how to personalize it, let me help you. I am going to teach you one way by changing your background.

Step One: Sign onto your blog. For this example I will be using Blogger.

Step Five: After you click on “Blogger Backgrounds” look at the next page that pops up. Here you will see some sample backgrounds. If you look at the column on the right side, you will see a list of words which, when clicked, will take you to free backgrounds that are associated with the word you clicked on.

Step Six: Since we are making blogs about teaching, I have decided to click on the word “School” to see what free backgrounds they have. Once you have clicked on “School” look at the different backgrounds you can use. By clicking on “School” they give you six free background choices.

Step Seven: Find the background you like and click on it. You will be brought to a page that shows the background you chose along with directions on how to apply it to your blog. Feel free to follow the directions provided. If they aren’t easy to follow, continue reading this blog.
